The Celtic Harvest Festival Edgewater celebrates its 7th year September 17 & 18, 2016!

Colorado is rich in Celtic culture. It is celebrated at festivals all around the state. The Celtic Harvest Festival Edgewater

celebrates some of the best in Celtic music, dancing, history and art.

Please check out our entertainment page for the band and dance schedules. We are so lucky to have some of the finest Celtic

  musicians and dancers performing.

This year we welcome back the Renaissance Scots and Living History Association. Travel back in time as you stroll through

their village, watch sword fighters, weavers, wool spinners, metalsmithers and leather workers. Or you can just sit a while in the

village pub – The Knotty Dirk

The very popular Calling of the Clans and bonfire will start at 6:30 Saturday evening. Stop into the Clan Village earlier to learn

about the many different clans around Colorado.

The Kids Korner will be back with its huge tent full of activities, games, storytelling and an authentic Punch & Judy puppet show,

roving story teller and bouncy castle. This is a great place for parents to take a break while the kids get to let loose.

Also returning this year will be Billy Pickel and his sheep herding demonstrations, Dogs of the British Isles, HawkQuest and so

much more. Stroll through our Celtic Vendor Market or shop at the Farmer’s Market.

And what is a Celtic festival without beer, Scotch and lots of food? Come and enjoy, there is food and drink for all tastes!

We are very proud of the wonderful community festival this has turned out to be. We hear that it is unique from other festivals in

  Colorado in many ways;

“What a great festival! Our family spent most of the day there, having a great time and not spending a lot of money.”

“I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Edgewater Celtic Festival! Great music, vendors, food, dancers…….

We will be back next year!”

“We were pleasantly surprised at the Edgewater festival. The park is beautiful and so clean. The layout

was very easy to get around. And we really appreciated the kid’s tent. Our kids played there for two

          hours! Thank you, Edgewater.”

“As a musician who has played most of the Celtic festivals in Colorado, I have to say that yours is the best.

We felt so welcomed and appreciated. We would be pleased to come back every year!”

“The Edgewater Festival was so much fun! There were so many different things to see and do. We loved the real

sheepherding demonstrations and all the different breeds of dogs. The food and dancers and music were a

real treat. And walking through the Renaissance Scots village was a thrill for our whole family. Our kids thought

those kinds of skills were only in movies.”

“It was so nice to walk through your vendor booths and find quality gifts that don’t come from China. The vendors

seemed to be having a really good time as well.”

“We really enjoyed going through the clan village. It seemed like the kind of gathering that would have actually taken

place way back when. The Calling of the Clans was awesome! Even the audience got involved. This is the best

       festival in Colorado!”

We want to thank all of the wonderful people that have helped to make Celtic Harvest Festival Edgewater one of the

  best Celtic festivals in Colorado.
